Measure your connection

A primary focus of our study is to determine how widely-deployed NATs and proxies are on the Internet. We use a number of mechanisms to perform such measurements, including checking client headers, SYN fingerprints, and using a Java applet to create controlled socket connections back to our servers. More information can be found on our overview page.
